I was traveling to Philadelphia for business. I had packed up suits, cool shoes and my essentials, which included my Carol’s Daughter shea soufflé and Nekesa’s 3-in-1 moisturizer. I headed through airport security, and it was the worst nightmare ever. A security guard actually snatched these crucial essentials for a closer look ….and didn’t not give them back! I stood there in horror as he confiscated the items. I begged, I pleaded, but there was no sympathy for my dry hair or skin. Because of increased security and sizing regulations, I could not bring the CD and Nekesa’s aboard Flight #1187.
Luckily, I’d used the 3-in-1 moisturizer earlier that morning … and the sheeny shine held up for me, despite the cold Philly winds! Best of all, several sisters stopped me and asked me “Who does your hair?” and “What do you use on your hair?” So in the end, I was fine! But Nekesa, girl, can you please provide the moisturizer in a two-ounce bottle so I don’t have to battle airport security? J
